Potted Chrysanthemum is October Houseplant

According to Holland Plant Bureau –  Potted Chrysanthemum is Your House Plant.

You can never go wrong with potted Chrysanthemums, wether they are red, yellow, pink, orange, white, purple, and with small or large flowers, or spider shape. They will give your autumn a colorful dose of optimism with their warm appearance and are no unnecessary luxury when it is so grey outside.

We love Potted Chrysanthemums here in US, but nowhere is it as popular as in Japan. Kiku, as the Chrysanthemum is called there, is found on the royal crest, the passport and the 50 yen coin. The Japanese also celebrate the plant during the annual Festival of Hapiness, because the Chrysanthemum brings happiness. The plant will naturally shine this much attention.
